In the latest club competition, Barbara Morris gained first place in the Novice Section with Silver Tree and Robin Bennett and Wendy Morris came second and third respectively. The growing popularity of digital imaging was reflected in the large entry for the digital section. A wide range of styles was evident in the entry, which was eventually won by Brent Waite with Pink Fungi. Esther Barton was placed second and Brian McEvoy was third.
The next meeting is on September 9, after the summer break, when Mike Lane will give a talk entitled A Country Lane. The club is open to everyone interested in photography and digital imaging, beginners and experienced alike.
Anyone interested please contact Keith Pointon (01588 640592) or Rick Alexander (01584 872501). The meetings are held at The Unicorn, Lower Corve Street, starting at 7.45pm
