What an enjoyable Thursday afternoon, but what an oversight on the part of The Establishment that Mr Frances Dunne of Ludlow railway station was not introduced to the Royal couple.
Mr Dunne has done such a lot for local rail users. His knowledge, expertise and congeniality has raised the profile of not only the station, but of the town itself. Shame therefore, that he should be so neglected by the council's officers and councillors.
Hopefully, the Royal pair had time to appreciate the station gardens. These looked good because they are regularly maintained by volunteers of the Rail User's Association. Did any of these people receive an invitation? I do hope so.
