WORCESTER Rugby Club's Jo Yapp and Nicky Crawford helped England win the inaugural Women's Churchill Cup rugby trophy in Canada.
Yapp, formerly of Clee Hill, and her club colleague Crawford were both in the team which beat Canada 21-18 in a tense final at Vancover's famous Thunderbird Stadium, with the winning England try coming from their number eight Georgia Stevens in the final minute.
Although Yapp was forced to leave the field with the recurrence of an ankle injury she played her part in the win which confirmed England as number two in the women's world rugbybehind New Zealand.
