The match of the season so far in the Ludlow and District Bowls League saw the top two lock horns at the Castle.
Castle taking a 3-1 lead, Carl 'Leaky' Bowen inflicting Simon Parsonage's first defeat of the season 21-15. 'Super Mario' Bishop 21-6, keeping the Arms in the aggregate. Although Craven Arms have a game in hand, its away at fourth placed Cleobury, where six points will be hard to come by, thus ensuring a close second half to season.
