LUDLOW dancer Hollie Robertson and her partner Darrien Wright have shimmied their way into the final of the BBC's Strictly Dance Fever competition
The nation will watch and vote as the pair compete against two other couples to win £50,000.
Last Saturday's semi-final saw them impress judges Arlene Phillips, Wayne Sleep and Ben Richards with two routines, the Adagio and the Hustle, before viewers voted them straight into the final, due to be broadcast on Saturday at 6pm.
Hollie, aged 20, lives at Middleton with her parents Carol and Stuart and her dance style is described as Street/Hip Hop
A former teacher at the Insteps dance school, in Ludlow, she grew up in the town, moved to London for a short spell and then moved back to be with her family and boyfriend Bruno.
From six to 13 she was a gymnast, even winning a British Championship bronze medal on the vault.
However, she was forced to give up the sport after slipping a disc and so, having always enjoyed floor routines, turned to dancing.
She says her goal is to progress as a dancer as much as possible and, if she wins the contest, she will pay off all her debts and try to set up a dance school.
