THE enterprising Leominster Choral Society is looking for new singers for its winter programme and next June's summer festival concert.
Weekly rehearsals, under Vernon Thurgood, start again on Tuesday, September 5, at 7.30pm.
The society's autumn concert on October 21 will include John Rutter's Mass of the Children and choruses from The Armed Man by Karl Jenkins.
The ever-popular Carols by Candlelight concert on December 23 will include Ralph Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on Christmas Carols. The society promises that none of this music is difficult to sing.
Rehearsals will be in the Baptist Church Hall, Etnam Street. Doors open from 7pm for registration and collection of music. Inquiries should go to society chairman Philip Baldwin on 01568 613513.
