FOUR major musical events will celebrate the 150th anniversary of St Michael's College near Tenbury Wells.
The big celebrations will be on September 16, when Hereford Cathedral Choir sings Eucharist at 11am and Emmanuel Church Choir from Sutton Coldfield sings Choral Evensong at 4.45pm.
In the afternoon at 2.30pm Dr Roy Massey, former organist and Master of the Choristers at Hereford Cathedral, will give a celebrity recital. It will include Bach's Prelude and Fugue in G and Elgar's Second Sonata.
On September 27 at 4pm BBC Radio 3 will transmit a live broadcast of Choral Evensong, given by the School Choir of Tewkesbury Abbey.
Members of the congregation should be seated by 3.40pm.
