A SOUTH Shropshire country pub has had cause for celebration.
Richard and Jane Arnold wanted to mark the 10th anniversary of taking over the 17th century Crown County Inn at Munslow.
Richard, a Masterchef of Great Britain, has received numerous awards for the quality of his food – most recently being included, yet again, in the Good Food Guide and retaining its two AA Rosettes.
Despite the challenges facing the pub trade, Richard and Jane have invested in the business.
“The severe winter took its toll on the ageing patio and we felt it would be a fitting commemoration to refurbish the guest area to mark our anniversary,” said Richard.
They have also managed to replant their herb garden which was severely ravaged by the extreme temperatures.
A celebratory pig roast with family and friends was staged to mark the anniversary.
