A CYCLING butcher has pedalled from the Welsh coast to his home in Leintwardine to raise funds for the Air Ambulance.
Douglas Griffiths was one of a group of five to make the trip from Aberystwyth over two days.
Until the 68-year-old started preparing two months ago, he had not been on a bike for more than 40 years.
Mr Griffiths said: “It was hard work and the hardest part was the first two hours on the second morning when I did not feel that my legs belonged to me.”
