Dawley Villa 1 Ludlow Town 1 LUDLOW Town boss Mike Seaborne refused to be downbeat following Saturday’s draw at Dawley Villa in the Premier Division of the Shropshire County League.
A first-half equaliser from Nathan Hodge secured a point for Town, who could have easily scored more, according to Seaborne.
“We’re not free-scoring like we were but we will be back – we’re creating chances,” said Seaborne.
“We were a goal down after 20 minutes. It was a bit sloppy by us but then we trusted ourselves and we were on the front foot.”
He added: “We were unlucky not to score, we had about six or seven chances.”
Town are fourth in the Shropshire County Premier Football League, eight points adrift of tabletoppers Newport.
Town are in Shropshire FA Challenge Cup firstround action against visiting FC Hodnet this Saturday.
