NATHAN Hodge could spearhead Ludlow Town’s attack against Morda United at the SBS Stadium on Saturday.
Town boss Mike Seaborne hopes that sharp-shooter Hodge will be back in action after resting his injured ankle over the festive period.
“Nathan’s only started about five games this season but he’s made some substitute appearances,”
said Seaborne.
“He’s had a bit of a niggle for most of the season and he’s been resting his ankle.
Hopefully, he will be fit.”
Hodge watched from the sidelines last Friday as his brother Aaron scored in Town’s 2-1 friendly loss to Bartestree.
Andy Walker had a tooth knocked out in the match at the SBS Stadium.
Town are sixth in the Shropshire County League Premier Division table.
Morda are fifth — one place and one point better off than Town. They have already beaten Seaborne’s men twice this season. “We will be going out for revenge,” said Seaborne.
Town’s Reserves also return to action on Saturday away to Prees in the Shropshire County League Division One.
Clee Hill United host local rivals Brown Clee and Bishop’s Castle Town entertain Oswestry Lions, also in Division One.
