OLYMPIC hopeful Leon Baptiste popped into a south Shropshire school to inspire pupils this week.
The sprinter visited the Bishop Hooper School in Ashford Carbonell to show pupils and staff some get fit routines and how to sprint.
He won an individual Commonwealth gold medal in the 200 metres and was a member of the British team that won the 4 X 100 metres gold.
He was a promising footballer but turned to running after suffering a serious leginjury.
Leon has the qualifying time for the London Olympics but has to secure his place at the qualifying event in Birmingham in June.
