Newcastle 3 Ludlow Town Res 1.
NEWCASTLE fought back from 1-0 down to win the Bucknell Cup - their second piece of silverware in eight days.
Richard Williams, Carl Price and skipper Mark Jones all scored in the second period for the the Mid Wales League South champions.
It was disappointment for Ludlow boss Geoff Simkiss, who is leaving the role at the end of the season.
But Ludlow had made a bright start in Sunday’s final and Jesse James deservedly fired them ahead after Kerion Dovey‘s cross was blocked.
