MIKE Seaborne says he will support the next Ludlow Town manager.
Former boss Seaborne has stepped down from Town’s hot-seat after a couple of seasons.
He believes the vacant manager’s role at the SBS Stadium should attract interest.
“Ludlow Town have great facilities and one of the best grounds in the area,” said Seaborne.
“The club has a lot of potential and we would like a new manager in place as soon as possible. When I said I was standing down, I told the committee I wouldn’t be walking away.
“We’d like to hear from people who are interested in taking over.
“Whoever comes in, me and Kate Woodhouse will help them in whatever way we can.”
Goalkeeper Dave Cooper expressed an interest in the role earlier this year when Seaborne said he was stepping down.
“We finished fifth in the league last season and we got to the final of the league cup,” said Seaborne.
“It looks like we will be running one senior at the club next season.”
Ludlow will be competing in the Mercian League following the dissolution of the Shropshire County League.
“I think the league is much the same as the County League,” said Seaborne.
“I understand that Broseley Juniors have folded, which is sad.” Seaborne said Town wanted to hear from local clubs and are planning to organise the Ludlow Hospital Cup in mid-July.
“We would like about eight local teams involved and it will be on a first-come first-served basis.”
