Ludlow Town Ladies lost their first game of the season 6-5 at Bridgnorth Spartans.
Bridgnorth scored the first goal with 10 minutes left of the first-half. This led to a quick response from Lisa Preece with a stunning individual goal and a late first-half effort by Amy Lyons left it 2-1 in Ludlow's favour.
After the break, Amy Lyons grabbed her second and this was quickly followed by Lara Moffat’s low long range shot hitting the back of the net.
Bridgnorth continued to pressure Ludlow’s hard-working defence and made it 4-4, followed by another soon after to take the lead.
Lisa Preece scored the final goal for Ludlow before a goalkeeping error resulted in Bridgnorth taking the win.
