PEGASUS Juniors player-manager Anthony Robbins says sentimental feelings will go out the window when he faces former club Hereford FC.
The two sides will clash in the semi-finals of the HFA County Challenge Cup, with the match set to take place next month.
"I've got too much to do with playing and managing to think about the significance of it, but of course I'm delighted we've got Hereford," said Robbins.
"I spoke to Pete Beadle straight away and he did ask if if I wanted to bring the boys down to Edgar Street and give them the experience of playing there, but playing it at Old School Lane makes it more of a level playing field.
"Last season, they got about 1,600 there for the final, but the fact that it's a semi-final at our place gives us a small chance."
Robbins has benefited from some Hereford players signing dual registration forms in order to play for Pegasus.
"The only UITC players who have been really playing have been Max Harris and Lewis Clarke," said Robbins.
"Jay Richmond hasn't been signed on at Hereford, so it will be nice for him to play in front of Beads and Steve Jenkins and show what he can do."
Meanwhile, Pegasus are up to ninth place in the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division after beating bottom club Gornal Athletic 5-1.
Cory Hyde scored four of the goals, with Carlos Moreira also netting.
"Because we hadn't played since December 17 we weren't sure what sort of team they would field," added Robbins.
"But Cory was on fire – I think he only had four shots and scored with all of them."
However, Pegasus are out of the Worcestershire Royal Infirmary Cup after losing 4-3 on penalties to Stourport Swifts following a 2-2 draw. Tom Boyle scored both Pegasus' goals
