TWO hockey internationals are keen to help budding players of all ages in Ludlow get the right end of the stick.
Sam Samak, a former Egyptian international and current England Over-35 player, and Wales international Mike Wood are putting on coaching sessions with Ludlow Hockey Club.
The pair have been drafted in by Ludlow head coach Claire Stewardson to lead sessions at Moor Park's astroturf pitch on three Mondays next month (August 2, 9 and 16)
Morning sessions are for single junior players or small groups of juniors – hourly sessions can be booked for 10am, 11am and 12noon.
For a one-to-one session, the cost is £40 - for a session with two players the cost is £30 per player, for three players £20 per player and for four players £15 per player.
In the afternoon, sessions for bigger groups run for two hours from 2-4pm and cost £20, or £15 for Ludlow Hockey Club members.
In the evenings, there are sessions for senior players running from 7-8.30pm. The cost is £10, or £8 for Ludlow Hockey Club members
Ludlow are expecting the coaching sessions to prove very popular and early booking with Claire is essential. Email clairestewardson@hotmail.co.uk or 07791 008948 for more details.
